Botpress vs Landbot: free plans compared (2026)
Short version: pick Botpress if you want an AI agent that answers in its own words (3 AI agents, 3 seats, 100 conversations). Pick Landbot if a scripted, no-code flow or a WhatsApp test bot is enough: 100 chats a month, but no AI chats on Free, and its pricing page says no card is needed.
| Tool | What you get | Limits | Card required | The catch | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Botpress | 3 AI agents, 3 seats, 100 conversations, Help Center, community support. | 100 conversations; no top-ups or overages | Vendor doesn't say | Only 100 conversations, with no top-ups on the Free plan. | botpress.com/pricing checked 2026-10-26 |
| Landbot | Build a website or WhatsApp chatbot with the full no-code builder and templates: 100 chats a month, 1 seat, and a WhatsApp test number. | 100 chats a month; no AI chats; 1 seat | No (stated by vendor) | The Free plan includes no AI chats, so it runs scripted flows only. AI chats start on Starter (€32/month billed annually, 100 AI chats). | landbot.io/pricing checked 2026-10-26 |
Every row is taken from the vendor's official pricing page, checked 2026-10-26. "Vendor doesn't say" means the official page does not mention it. Plans change, so confirm on the vendor's site.
