The catch
Best effort only: no uptime or latency guarantee, and requests return a 429 error when free capacity is full. Professional voice clones need the paid heygen-voice-1 model.

HeyGen's Voice Turbo model (heygen-voice-1-turbo-free) costs $0 per million characters through November 30, 2026. It works with HeyGen's public voices and with instant voices you clone from one recording, and creating instant voices is free during the preview.
